We went down to the river to pray
Singing about that good old day
All the cows were lined up knee deep
Giving their souls to Jesus to keep
The cornfields spread across the land
Birds chirped gospel as the background band
The sky was as deep as blue could be
This ceremony was quite a sight to see
Cows of every color, size, and shape
Experiencing heaven without the red tape
We stood and we watched as each cow was dunked
Off a lily pad, Mister Frog jumped: Ker-plunk
Once each cow had their sin washed away
They grazed in the field for the rest of the day
God’s green earth is for all kinds of creatures
Just ask any one of God’s soul saving preachers.
