wasn’t expecting
to see pretty
there on the ground.
Animation in the wilderness
grows a psychedelic
mushroom with finesse.
The Gnome is the King
and if you give him a ring,
he’ll send you a fairy
that is magically inclined.
She is made to spread dust
on people who lust
and she changes the minds
about fat behinds.
Everything is perfect
in Gnomeville.
You can feel big or small
without taking a pill.
Watch out for the toads
and also the frogs,
they are very jealous
and they hide out in logs.
The psychedelic cover
on the very top
guides’ fairies home
when they need to stop.
Refresh and revitalize
their magic powers
so they can go back out
into the world for hours.
Cartoonish this ‘shroom
appeared in front of me,
until I went inside
I couldn’t really see.
All of the funkiness
going on in there,
it was hard to refrain myself
from my awkward stare.
The colors were vibrant
and so very bright;
I didn’t want to leave
this beautiful sight.
The Gnome King offered me
a choice if I wanted to stay,
but I’d never be able
to return back
into the world my way.
Become a fairy
with Tinkerbelle toes,
sprinkling dust
and ideas I shall impose.
So now I live
sharing my magic,
going back
to the real world
would be tragic.
